IFA 2017 - Blaupunkt presents air treatment smart home solutions

  • In Berlin from September 1st to 6th 2017 at the IFA, the world’s leading trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances, Blaupunkt will introduce wide range of portable air conditioners, air purifiers and dehumidifiers. At booth 200 in hall 8.1 the company will show new products inspired by smart home technologies.

 

 

Since 2012 air treatment technology become a rapidly growing product category of the Blaupunkt brand.
The company is currently cooperating with many professional distributors in numerous European countries.

Warsaw Air Conditioning Salon 2017

is the biggest exhibition of ventilation, air conditioning, and cooling technology in Poland.
Held on 7th and 8th March where international and domestic trade visitors from the installation and retail trade meet in Warsaw to transact business. The fair attracted ventilation system designers, installers, entrepreneurs, manufacturers and wholesalers, designers, architects, service providers, public authorities, and universities.

University to work with German giant on new product range

The University of Sunderland has teamed up with Blaupunkt Tools to help launch their new range of garden equipment.

 

Blaupunkt, famous for the production of car stereos, are now branching out into the garden tools sector, releasing their new range soon in the UK.

 

The University’s Enterprise & Innovation Directorate, which covers a range of external business offers, will work with Blaupunkt to oversee their launch on social media and digital platforms.

The working partnership will also see the future use of interns from the University, experiential marketing campaigns, with facilities utilised at the University’s new centre for Enterprise & Innovation – Hope St Xchange.

 

Commercial Manager for the University, Mal Robinson said: “It is a real coup for the University to be working with a brand as established as Blaupunkt. We are very happy they have chosen to work with us and put their faith in us for something as important as launching their new range of garden products – a sector they have not entered before.

Robinson added: “This will be the pilot project that will showcase what the University can offer to external businesses, from creative thinking to product launches at the likes of Hope St Xchange”.

 

Chief Technical Officer for Blaupunkt Tools, Dave Crowder commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for both parties and we are delighted the Enterprise and Innovation Directorate are on board to assist with the launch online.”
